Dawie’s deep-rooted passion for the outdoors was nurtured from a young age on his family farm near Vaalwater, Limpopo. Growing up immersed in nature, he spent his school holidays exploring the bush, fishing in tranquil waters, and honing his hunting skills on small game. These formative experiences instilled in him a profound respect for wildlife and the environment. For the past 10 years, Dawie has been guiding professionally, combining his extensive knowledge with a calm and patient demeanor. His unwavering dedication and ability to adapt to any situation make him an exceptional guide, ensuring unforgettable experiences for his clients.

Sheldon Butler
With over 25 years of hunting experience, Sheldon Butler embodies a lifelong passion for the outdoors and the pursuit of wildlife. Growing up immersed in hunting traditions, Sheldon honed his skills across various terrains, mastering the art of tracking and ethical hunting. His journey has taken him across Africa, where he has cultivated a deep understanding of the diverse ecosystems and wildlife unique to the continent. A seasoned professional, Sheldon combines his expertise with a dedication to conservation, ensuring sustainable practices that preserve the natural beauty of Africa. His extensive experience and passion for the hunt make him a trusted guide and mentor for those seeking a true African hunting adventure.

Servious Moyo
Servious grew up in the Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe. He completed his Chef training at in Bulawayo in 1996. After working at safari lodges in Zimbabwe he came to South Africa in 1999, where he is now residing. He is happily married with 7 children. Servious prepares the most fabulous venison dishes, adding to your truly African experience. His humble personality makes him an intricate part of the team

Frans Tau
Frans is our local Chef who grew up in the Limpopo Province. When he started working for Zingela Limpopo Safaris, his passion for food and people did not go unnoticed, he was sent for further education as a chef. Frans has been working on the reserve for more than 10 years, therefore, his family has a long relationship with us.

Joel
Joel grew up in the Limpopo province, adjacent to Zingela Limpopo Safaris. He has been working for Zingela Limpopo Safaris for over 10 years and knows the 60,000 acres like the back of his hand.He has a great sense of humor. His tracking and skinning skills are excellent and most importantly he loves and respects wildlife

Josef grew up with Nico on their family farm in North West and under Nico’s father’s guidance, he was taught and apprenticed the finer skills of tracking and skinning. Josef has a vast knowledge of the indigenousness of fauna and flora which contribute to an unforgettable hunting experience.
