ACCOMODATION

Zingela Limpopo Safaris is situated just 14km (8.6 miles) north of Tolwe, a small settlement in the Limpopo province. We're approximately 430km (267 miles) from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, a comfortable 4-hour drive. There is also a smaller domestic airport just 200km (124 miles) away, which can be reached within 2 hours by car. Typically, we pick up our clients from Johannesburg international airport, but they may opt to fly to Polokwane for a shorter drive. Additionally, we have an airstrip on the property for clients who request private charter flights from Johannesburg to our camp.

Baobab Tented Camp sits atop a rugged African kopje. It is surrounded by ancient Baobab trees that bear the scars of elephants that once roamed the Limpopo valley a century ago. This rustic, safari-style camp offers four individually spaced tents for extreme privacy, each with its own en-suite bathroom and private viewing deck that overlooks the pristine Limpopo Valley. We also provide daily laundry services. The common area features a semi-open lounge, a splash pool to cool off during summer, and a braai (BBQ) area. Our highly trained staff will attend to your every need.

Our meals contain authentic African Bush Cuisine, including great venison, South African wines, and beer. For hunters, we provide lunch boxes that can be enjoyed in one of our blinds. We also offer regular campfires and barbeques amid the nocturnal sounds of the African bush. Guests are treated to a 3-course meal that includes grilled venison fingers cooked over an open fire, traditional "Potjiekos" (Hot Pot), or homemade bread.

At Zingela Limpopo Safaris, we promote a green camp and run the entire facility using solar power and gas-heating water systems.
